Our next Gig is going to be at Cliffy's in 'Maritzberg on the 30th of April, the Mondays a public Holiday, so everyone doesn't need to worry abou the Monday morning blues.
Okay keep well all, will be in touch.

Mother Africa

Silently we sleep and dream
and miss the 'plane that goes back home
fill my dreams with memories
of sun filled skies and accacia trees
open plains un-rend by man
and wildebeest that freely ran

Mother Africa's calling me home
I felt her breath on the wind today
Mother africa's I'm coming home
But not quite yet for now I'll stay

I love the sea whose waves they break
for eternity and slowly shape
the coast of sand of Ivory
that stretches until the eyse can't see.

Mother Africa's calling me home
I felt her breath on the wind today
Mother africa's I'm coming home
But not quite yet for now I'll stay

I walked the streets in the cold today
because I missed the bus that went my way
I called a friend on a distant line
and his accent was the same as mine
We talked a while of memories
of sun filled skies and accacia trees

Mother Africa's calling me home
I felt her breath on the wind today
Mother africa's I'm coming home
and yes this time, this time I'll stay.

Some more images, the top one is again from our practices the one above is a picture I took when in cruger, called crossing the Boarder.
Splashy is this weekend so we're all looking forward to it, we're playing on easter sunday, nice one. Hopefully we'll have some pictures to put up of splashy and some stories to tell. Later.

Band practice in my room at home, in picture are Jeremy at the front and myself in the background. Above is one with Colin on the left, and the name we'd written in flames at New Years, I played around with photoshop to super impose it onto the main piture. They're pretty cool shot's because they cpture the mood of the practices and one day will make some great inside cover shot's for our album.

This shot was taken just before the band played at emoyeni - it was our first music festival together, Jeremy still hadn't started on the Bass yet, but he was there singing.
